Starting and Stopping the Stream

Once you have your input selected (test image or camera) and at least one output (HTTP and/or file), you're ready to start streaming! Click the "Start" button at the bottom, and one of two things will happen:

or

StreamMinder will continue to monitor MJPG-streamer for any messages or changes in execution status. If the stream is unexpectedly stopped, StreamMinder will reset the "Stop" button so that it says "Start" again, and will update the status bar to show that the stream is stopped. You can re-start it by clicking the "Start" button again. If you exit StreamMinder while the stream is running, MJPG-streamer will continue to run with the current settings. However, you cannot re-start StreamMinder and have it pick up where it left off. Version 2 of StreamMinder is expected to work around this limitation by employing a client-server model.
